Flowers, a waterfall, and sunset at the lake ... Rachel’s senior session had a little bit of everything!
Rachel is a Class of 2027 senior from Tomah and a twin! When we were planning her session, she wanted to share the experience with her sister while still keeping their photos separate. We loved that idea! We planned one outing with time for each of them to step in front of the camera and have portraits of their own.
The girls chose a beautiful mix of locations, giving us plenty of variety along the way. From colorful garden flowers to a field of delicate white blooms, we had some lovely settings for Rachel’s photos. Her floral dress looked right at home among the greenery, and her jeans and brown top were a perfect fit for the more casual portraits beneath the tall pines.
We also made room for those scenic views! The leafy staircase, wooded paths, and open landscape each brought something different to her collection. That’s one of our favorite parts of a session with several stops ... seeing how an outfit and a change of scenery can create a whole new look.
Then it was off to the waterfall! The rushing water and surrounding woods made such a pretty backdrop for Rachel in her floral dress. We captured both closer portraits and wider images to include more of the scenery they had chosen.
We finished the evening at the lake, where the soft pink sky and sunlight reflecting across the water gave us a beautiful ending. Rachel’s pale yellow top and white skirt paired so nicely with those warm sunset colors. What a way to wrap up her senior photos!
Here are some of our favorites from Rachel’s part of the session. Be sure to stop back for our next blog, when we’ll share her twin sister’s portraits!
