A Proposal - Tegan & Alexis - Rib Mountain, WI Photographer

Some photo sessions are special because of the moment being captured. Others are special because of the people in front of the camera. This proposal was both ... because the groom-to-be was our son, Tegan, and the beautiful bride-to-be was Alexis, our future daughter-in-law.

Since they both love winter and snowboarding, a snowy ski hill was the perfect place for Tegan to ask the big question. It also happened to be the coldest and windiest day of the year ... but the weather could not take away from the joy of the moment.

Capturing Alexis’s surprise, their laughter, and their first portraits as an engaged couple was incredibly special for me as both a photographer and a mom.
