There is something extra special about photographing close family friends. This extended family session was one of those evenings that reminded us why we love what we do so much.

We met the Bredlau family halfway in Tomah, Wisconsin, making it a perfect meeting spot between the Viroqua area and Stevens Point. Tomah gave us the most beautiful fall backdrop ... golden leaves, a quiet wooded road, and that soft autumn color that makes family portraits feel warm and timeless.

For this session, we were able to capture a little bit of everything. We started with the full extended family together, which is always such an important photo to have. From there, we photographed smaller family groupings, couples, siblings, grandparents, and a few fun combinations along the way.
