Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin - Gala of Gratitude - Stevens Point, WI Photographer

We had the privilege of photographing the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin’s Gala of Gratitude this year, and it was such a beautiful evening to be part of.
I was asked to fill in as the event photographer, and I’m so glad it worked out. Hosted between the beautiful Muse at Sentry and the Sentry Grand Hall, the evening had the perfect backdrop for a warm, elegant, and meaningful celebration of generosity, community, and the people who help make Central Wisconsin such a special place.
From the moment guests arrived, the room had such a welcoming feel. There were smiling faces, beautiful table settings, thoughtful details, and so many moments of connection throughout the evening. Events like this are always special to photograph because they tell a story beyond the decorations and formal program ... they show the heart behind the organization and the people who support its mission.
The Gala of Gratitude brought together community members, donors, leaders, and friends for an evening of celebration and appreciation. There were heartfelt presentations, awards, laughter, conversations around the tables, and plenty of meaningful moments worth preserving. It was clear how much care went into planning the event and how deeply the work of the Community Foundation impacts our area.
One of our favorite parts of photographing events like this is capturing both the big moments and the little in-between ones ... guests greeting each other, groups gathering for photos, speakers sharing from the stage, applause filling the room, and the overall atmosphere of the night. Those are the images that help tell the full story of an event.
We’re grateful we had the opportunity to step in and photograph this year’s Gala of Gratitude for the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin. It was a wonderful evening honoring generosity, community connection, and the people working together to make a difference in Central Wisconsin.
