Corey & Becca - Wedding - Stevens Point, Photographer
Jun 16 2026 | By: Pichette Photography
This sweet couple traveled from Florida to celebrate their marriage here in central Wisconsin. While Florida is home now, Stevens Point holds a special place in their story because it is where they first met a few years earlier.
Their wedding day was joyful, meaningful, and full of laughter, but one of our favorite parts actually started the day before.
Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Corey and Becca chose something with a little more family history and a lot more powdered sugar potential ... pączki, traditional Polish donuts.
The day before the wedding, we met at the groom’s parents’ home, where the kitchen and dining area had been turned into a full pączki-making operation. Dough was rising, donuts were cooling, and cream filling was being piped into dozens and dozens of golden pastries.
It was such a fun and meaningful way to begin the wedding story. There was laughter, teamwork, and the kind of family energy that makes documentary-style wedding photography so special.
The next day, Corey and Becca were married at UW-Stevens Point, the place where their story first began.
Their ceremony was full of laughter, emotion, and genuine connection. Corey and Becca were clearly thrilled to be standing there together, and the people around them were just as happy to celebrate with them.
After the ceremony, guests gathered for a beautiful reception filled with conversation, smiles, and, of course, pączki.
