Kuri - 2026 Senior - Waupaca, WI Photographer
By: Pichette Photography
Kuri came over from Waupaca for her senior pictures, and we loved how much variety we were able to include in her gallery. From cozy bookstore images to golden fall portraits — and, of course, a few with her sweet dog Arlo — her session had so many meaningful touches.
One of Kuri’s requests was to include photos in a bookstore because she loves to read. The bookstore setting was such a perfect fit for Kuri. Surrounded by shelves of colorful books, she looked relaxed, comfortable, and completely in her element. Those images had such a cozy, personal feel, and they added something unique to her senior gallery.
After the bookstore, we moved into a mix of outdoor locations that gave her session a beautiful fall look. The warm golden light, colorful trees, and soft backgrounds were perfect for senior portraits. Kuri’s black outfit paired so well with the rich autumn colors, giving those images a classic and polished feel. Later, her cream sweater brought out a softer, cozy fall style that looked beautiful near the water and tall grasses.
We also loved the variety in her outfits. Her red cardigan added a bright pop of color downtown and gave those images a clean, timeless look. Then her navy dress and red shoes were such a fun combination, especially against the greenery and textured walls. Each outfit gave her gallery a different feel while still keeping the whole session connected and true to her personality.
And we can’t forget Arlo! Bringing a dog to senior pictures is always a good idea, especially when they are such an important part of the senior’s life. Arlo was such a sweet addition to Kuri’s session, and the photos of the two of them together are some of our favorites. They add warmth, personality, and a little extra joy to the gallery.
