Kyla’s senior session was such a joy to photograph.

Before her session, her mom shared with us that Kyla might need a few breaks along the way, so we went into the evening ready to keep things relaxed, easy, and at her pace. But Kyla did absolutely amazing. Once we got started, she settled in beautifully, and it was so fun to see her personality come through in front of the camera.

One thing that helped was simply keeping the conversation going. We talked with Kyla about some of her favorite things, and one of those favorite things just happens to be cats. Any time we could bring the conversation back to something she loved, her smile became even more natural and genuine.
