Ali - 2027 Senior - Portage, WI Photographer

When we planned Ali’s senior session, she had two requests: some photos with flowers and a picture with her dog, Rex. If possible, she also hoped to include a few by the water. We loved having those ideas to build around ... it’s always fun to hear what matters most to a senior and make those details part of their photos!

This Portage senior’s session brought together soft floral dresses, beautiful summer greenery, colorful blooms, and warm sunshine. Her blue-and-white dress looked lovely against the trees, while her blue-and-pink maxi dress fit right in among the pink flowers. We also worked in some brick and downtown backgrounds, giving her gallery a nice mix of natural scenery and a different look.

Of course, Rex deserves a little spotlight of his own! The photo of Ali hugging him, with his tongue out and those wonderfully expressive ears, is such a sweet part of her session. Including a beloved pet makes senior pictures even more personal, and we’re so glad Ali wanted him in hers.

Flowers were another highlight, from delicate blooms in the grassy field to bright pink blossoms surrounding Ali. And the sunflower portraits with that glowing orange sunset? Such a beautiful combination!

That’s one of our favorite things about senior photography: taking a few ideas and creating a collection of images with variety, while keeping the senior at the heart of it all. For Ali, flowers and Rex were two details that helped make these photos her own.
